Essentially, the setup requires an AirKey-compatible locking component, a smartphone, and an internet connection. For those preferring non-smartphone options, alternative access media such as cards or key tags are also available.
Security is a paramount feature of AirKey. Communication between the smartphone and lock is protected by end-to-end encryption, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality. The mobile app offers additional safety through PIN protection, while key tags incorporate advanced security features that prevent duplication.
